As the temperature drops, we all want to stay warm while still enjoying the rewards that winter fishing can bring, which has led to a rise in the use of bivvy heaters. But it’s important to stay safe while doing it. Carbon monoxide (CO) is a silent killer…. invisible, odourless and deadly. FishNET is run by the Angling Trust and fully funded through Environment Agency rod licence sales. It’s a completely free online training tool aimed at helping anglers, clubs, and fisheries understand more about fisheries enforcement and how to respond to issues that harm our waters and fish. Radcliffe Angling Society is looking for a few reliable volunteers to join our team of bailiffs. Duties include checking anglers’ permits, collecting day ticket fees, and helping to keep our waters safe and enjoyable for everyone across all 4 venues. The club has continued the process of restocking club waters with a selection of silvers delivered to the following locations during March 2025 at a cost of over £5000.
