Club Waters
Since 1907, our members have enjoyed access to a variety of waters across Radcliffe and Bolton. We currently manage seven waters across four venues, offering something for every angler — from pleasure fishing and regular matches to dedicated carp angling.
Permits are available for all waters. Day tickets can be purchased for both Starmount and Red Bank, while Red Bridge and the Vale remain members‑only waters and require a valid membership permit.
Night fishing is permitted on Starmount Top Lodge for anglers holding the appropriate night‑fishing permit. Starmount also provides the best disability access across all our venues, ensuring an inclusive and enjoyable experience for all.
Starmount Lodges
Starmount comprises a series of three well-stocked coarse fishing waters with comfortable platforms and good access around the banks. Anglers can expect a mixed stock including carp (with fish up to around 28 lb), roach, perch, bream and other common coarse species, and night fishing is also allowed on the top lodge with the appropriate permit.
Red Bridge Lodge
Red Bridge is a well-established coarse fishing water offering fishing from two accessible banks. The lake holds a good mixed stock including carp alongside a variety of silver fish, making it suitable for a range of angling styles. A selection of methods and baits can be used, providing enjoyable fishing for both pleasure and specimen anglers.
Armitage Vale Lodge
Armitage Vale is a shallow yet productive coarse fishing water with pegs along two accessible banks and a deeper central channel. The lake holds a mixed stock including crucian carp, roach, perch, tench, bream, rudd, pike and the occasional carp, offering a varied angling experience for members. A barrier code is required for access.
