Armitage Vale Lodge
You can only fish on two sides of the lodge due to its location. The water is quite shallow close in, but there's a deeper channel in the middle with 8 fishing platforms on one side of the lodge with decking and around 8 pegs on the other side. You can park at the side of the lodge on the road or just past the lodge on some spare land. The main species of fish in this lodge are:- Crucian Carp, Roach, Perch, Tench, Bream, Rudd, Pike and the odd Carp. The best baits for this water are:- Maggots, Castors, Pinkies, Worms, Sweetcorn and Pellets. The best methods tend to be fishing the pole, ledger or waggler. A barrier code is required for this water which can be obtained from the club secretary.
